From 1993 until the year 2000 most strikes had the .999 on the rim and they were "ALL" .06 oz.pure silver. In 2000 at sometime the transition to .5 oz. of silver and the .999 on the rim took place. Only clads have no silver content nor .999 anywhere on them.
