That's the scary part, this wasn't an afternoon adventure to mold a strike and cast one up for fun. Someone with very sophisticated laser scanner and die cutting machine duplicated these, then ran then them through a minting press and plated them. It is easy to duplicate any coin but the equipment is very expensive. I am concerned this could be more widespread with other .999 stamped strikes too BUT hope it is limited to the three suspected strikes:
