Peggy say's in her post -For what it is worth, Walt, the collector had taken a Green Magic Marker and marked an E on the Brew Brothers Eldorado token with the LIMITIED error.
One FACT that cannot be denied is the TRADEMARK on the BRASS RIM - TM (c) 1996 Marilyn Monroe by CMG Indpls, IN - just as it is on the other Marilyn Monroe $10 silver strikes.
Peggy - Did the original collector mark this token in the same way? As far as the Trade mark on the rim, that doesn't prevent the strike from being a fake, I could put any center into the same ring if I so desired.
As far as Sunshine Mint gos I belive you will gather no information there as they don't share information about mintages etc. of stikes.
It could be the real thing but it could also be a fake made by anybody who has a lath and a bit of knowledge on machining. There are many novelty coins that are made the same way this strike could be made.
