I have come across what appears to be a $7 silver strike coin from the Gold Strike in Jean, Nevada. I was told that this coin is .999 silver. However, unlike most silver strikes I have ever seen, this strike does not have the .999 silver stamped anywhere on the coin. Can anyone tell me whether or not the content of this coin is silver. Sorry I didn't include any photographs, my camera would not focus on the coin so that the pictures would come out clear. Darn, cheap, camera!
