Re: SS book and end of .999 ?
In Response To: SS book and end of .999 ? ()

Hi Ron - A fair number of us use Bill Cohenour's Nevada Silver Strike Catalogue. Bill updates it pretty regularly and keeps track of auction prices for the last couple years. There is a guide for Non- Nevada strikes too I believe, but I don't have one of those. I have found the Vegas guide to come in quite handy. If you are looking for a guide for other non Nevada, let us know and we'll come up with something for you.

I think the clad strikes started showing up in 2008. They are easy to tell, they do not have a .999 fine silver stamp on eith the rim or the center. So, with the exception of Hard Rock Casino silver strikes, if it doesn't have a .999 somewhere, it is probably clad. If you need to know about any particular strikes, I sure enough of us here can let you know clad or silver if you want to post. Welcome to our board, we don't get quite the postings that the chip board does, but it does get lively every now and then.
