One can not ignore the fact that silver strikes have an intrinsic value that changes almost daily. Gone are the days (not too long ago) when one couldn't even get face value for their silver strikes that could not be redeemed at the casino of origin. If one is selling/buying silver strikes in today's market, one should be cognizant and pay attention to the current price of silver ... whether one wants to add strikes to their collections or buying them for speculation in anticipation of future price rises ... or to melt.
