Hi Doug - Thanks so much for taking the time to post that, very interesting! That was a good idea to do some bronze to offset the die cost. You mentioned you did 35 Silver. Those were mostly pre-orders as I understand it. Then you struck 50 bronze. Are the bronze then the ones the club tries to sell during the convention or do people pre-order them too. That's only 85 coins for how many members? Is the silver coin stamped for fineness?
I think there are about 500 paid members in the Silver Strikers club, I've seen that number a few times recently. We don't have too much trouble selling 100 coins, have had more trouble when it gets over 150. As the casinos have shifted from .999 fine centers to HSP clad, maybe you have hit on an interesting idea. Our club could continue to make .999 Club Strikes for all preorders and then have some clad ones for (cheaper!!!) for fundraising. We'll see if any of the members have an opinion by the replies to this thread. Again, thanks for posting the information.
