To me some non Nevada 40s are "not good" examples of art - "ie. Grand casino generics", while others are... I collect them anyway ( Plain jane & sharp pieces alike)- Some non Nevada 40s are super fine art "ie. Mohecan sun $40 indians. Atlantic city 40s, Treasure chest 40s"...
All are basically 1.5oz .999fine silver- so the only differance is there is a large group of "Nevada Only" collectors whom through their purchacing power have driven Nevada $40s price "historically up" over the last 10yrs.
A few Nevada $40s are prollific and in the past "Pre silver price escalation" Not so easily traded or sold ie. Ceasars Palace $40 Winged Victory, Any $40 Danny Gans,,etc.
Some collectors- go for "volume/size of their hoard" and others collect "State specific hoards", etc. I like my strike hoard to be a "casino and strike design variation hoard" as wide spectrumed as possible within my finacial means... It's fun/pleasurable seeing the results of years of Hard travelling, Trading, Winning, Rolling over proffits& out right buying strikes to have expierenced actually setting foot into over 200+ casinos, and having strikes from 150+ casinos of which about (10 or 20 percent of these places are gone)....
