Maybe the solution just involves a little bit of time to adjust things. I hope it's just a simple matter of making the $300's easy to distinguish the silver from the non-silver. Maybe the silverplated + silver $300 isn't the way to go. My vote (which of course doesn't really count for anything) is to try to get the .999 back on the silver part of the strike. If that makes it two toned, I am fine with that.
