Don - As to the minting of more club strikes I was told the mintage has to be 68 or more before Sunshine would mint them, also the cost as I am told would higher (maybe $5 to $10) due to the difference in the cost of Silver now against the price the club was able to buy it for when they locked in the silver price. This information was given to be by a person who has been involved in the club strike program. I don't think that there would be a lot more people who would pay up front and then wait to see if the order number needed was reached, also I don't think the club officers would want to deal with it but that is just my thinking.
Perhaps if the price of silver had been much lower the club might have had more made but only the officers know the answer to that question.
I can say a couple of members offered to sell the club silver for less than the mint was selling it for the last 2 years and the mint didn't make it worth while due to the cost of an assay etc. to persue the idea.
Perhaps things might be different next year if there is to be a club coin next year but only time will answer that question.
