A few years ago I suggested that the Four Queens hold their silver strike tournament the same weekend as the CCGTCC Supershow as I thought it would bring in the strikers at the same time of the show and they would have two reasons to come to Vegas. I got blasted for making such a suggestion. The opponents claimed it would take away from the show and apparently the FQ people did not want to upset these dummies so they scheduled their strike tournament a week earlier. Now at least 85% to 95% of the strikers leave before the CCGTCC show begins as they cannot afford or do not want to stay in Vegas for almost 10 days. Maybe someone of importance will read this post and count the strikers that show up for the CCGTCC show and maybe realize their error and ask the FQ to hold their show concurrent next year with thestrike tournament. Or maybe I will get blasted again for trying to upset the applecart.
