I too am a collector who started about 1997 and have enjoyed the hobby until the "clads" came out and pretty much stopped collecting but still have my strikes. I do have a question if anyone has the information. I won two strikes at the Gold Coast early on and didn't know what I had. They are the coin alligned and medal alligned strike that has the .999 on both sides. It is shown on the first page of the Gold Coast SS catalog at the bottom. Has anyone seen these strikes. I was surprised a few years after I won them because I was so uninformed about strikes. I just liked them. I purchased a catalog and found that they were fairly rare. It is the one with the slot machine. Any input would be interesting. Thanks. Ted (SSs-338)
