"For transaction of less than $10,000.00 the price paid will be at the discretion of APMEX and may be less than what is displayed here."
That doesn't say they won't buy them or the price won't be the same. It says it MAY be less than what is displayed. Maybe it's $0.25 less, maybe it's $0.05 less, maybe it's $1 less, maybe it's not less at all, we don't know. And the price fluctuates with silver. Since we started this thread silver dropped a few bucks an ounce, so of course the price drops.
The funny thing is APMEX is selling strikes at more than they are worth, they have been sitting on them for a long time, it is ridiculous that they would want to even buy large quantities of them considering no one buys them. They must really believe the price is going up, and they must really believe there is .64 troy ounces of silver in them. It is a recent change, in the past they refused to buy $10 strikes.
