Last time I read the club official description of a silver strike it had to have been played out of a silver strike machine.
Although VIP tokens, Tournament tokens, award tokens and such have been called silver strikes if they were .999 silver. It is what ever you want to call them I guess as Skippie says if it looks like a silver strike it is a silver strike. It has been debated ever since I joined in 1999 when Marv Weaver wanted to call them "Silver Premium Tokens" because if you ask a coin dealer for a "Silver Strike" he would show you all of his round .999 tokens. It really boils down to "what floats your boat" I was only pointing out that I didn't think were played in a "Silver Strike Machine"
