Simon - The cost to have the $300 strike made even with the weight only being 6 OZ. is still over $200 so that is why they didn't go back to a $200. Silver melt today would be like Dave said about $174.00, the mint doesn't sell silver to the casino's for melt so they aren't likely to go back to a $200 unless silver value takes a big down turn.
