My concern is more about what casinos will not redeem their own $300's like so many casinos that have dishonored their $10's.
I think the casino's should be required to honor the redemption of ANY silver strike they have produced no matter where the price of silver goes (up or down). As more and more silver strikes are being melted for silver value by collectors and silver speculators ... the less strikes there are to collect ... and the less number of existing strikes that casinos would be obligated to redeem. How many McCarran strikes for example went into the melting pot after they went non-redeemable? These numbers we will never know.
