it really does not matter to much to me what either of you think of me or the scanner I am using. For me it is simple, I will keep on using it because as long as I do not "have" to buy another one my extra money can go towards my son and his college. Of which I was just awarded the news that tuition is going up again because Sacramento can not figure out how to actually manage a budget. So be it. I have two sons and will help them any way I can. Just like you Kirk with you animals, they are your family. Have I once ever said anything about the money you spend on them, no is the answer to that. Ken, I don't know you but I would expect you have something close to you that you would rather spend your extra money on besides replacing something that works just fine.

For both of yours general knowledge my scanner is a old HP PSC 1410v and I am plenty happy with it. No, not the top of the line, and that is ok with me.

Go ahead and pick away at my expense. I have no problem with it.
