Being that I only collect Red Caps and $200's now because of the $10 Strikes going to clad and already having the Walking Liberty $200's from the other Casino's, I would vote NO! The only problem I have and have talked to Shaun at the QQQQ's and Craig when he was at the Palms, was the repeating of the same designs that these Casino's continue to have over and over again. This could be one of the reasons why some collectors are not collecting $200's any longer and are selling their $200 collections. Now with the $200's going to $300's with a possible cost to the collectors of $375 to $480, the designs should be more unique in order to keep the interest of the collectors with more desirable designs. I for one am not willing to purchase the same designs as in the past for the higher cost of the new $300 Strikes, how many Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs do I really need in my collection? One thing I do have to say is that when Sam's Town did get away from designs with gambling and went in their own direction with new designs, it proved to be very beneficial to them. In today's re-sale market with the $200's selling for between $260 and $290, that should be some sort of an indication that the $200's are not retaining their original selling price or increasing in value. Unless the (2) remaining Casino's do introduce better and more original designs, this could also be the demise of the One Pound Silver Strikes!
