We chatted a bit about this while in line waiting for $200's at the QQQQ. I think the reason for it is because you can have a nicely formatted document that works across multi platform computer users. And since Adobe Reader is free, folks commonly post .pdf files so that everyone regardless of their computer sees the exact same document. I have sent you jpeg formats of the pdf files. I assume you are able to open those and I don't mind doing that to anyone who doesn't want to put Adobe Reader on their computer. But it's a really small, very convenient application to have. Anyone who needs a jpeg (you will need a graphics program to open this) let me know and I'll convert the pdfs for you.
