When this club and it's cliques start doing things for all members as it should be done and certain members/people stop getting preferential treatment and looking to benefit themselves, then I feel that things will start to turn around, to benefit all of it's members!

Help me out a little here. I attended the June tournament week a couple months ago. I did the tournament, did the banquets and hung out down at the events down at South Pointe. I sort of understand what you mean by the cliques, honestly there were some club members who weren't real friendly to me. There were even a couple who were downright rude, as a matter of fact. But, after a week of being out there, I found three great guys who I mostly hung out with and a handful of pretty decent folks. It was enough for me to overlook the ones who were not so kind. But I'm not sure the cliques benefitted any more of anything than I did. And, by spending most of my time with a handful of strikers who I enjoyed their company, did I start a new clique?

Everybody has the same opportunity to go to Vegas, everyone has the same opportunity to stand in line to get strikes, to go to the club functions etc. We don't however, have the same means to do those things. I live in Ohio, no way can I go out to do the tournaments and be there for all the releases. But I knew that going in... before I paid my annual dues to the club... that there were going to be a lot of events I wouldn't be able to attend. So, I have meet a handful of really nice, very dependable and super fair fellow strikers who are able to get strikes for me. I envy the fact that there are a bunch of people who can go to all the events and releases, but I'm not going to complain unless I am excluded from certain club functions. To date, that has never happened.

You have been a member of the club much longer than I have, I'm sure the club has changed a lot, I've gone through all the old newsletters and read a lot of stuff here on the board. But considering the fact that nearly all of the casinos have abandoned us, I think it kind of amazing the club has done as well as it has. I really do believe though that each club member has equal access to all the benefits. Please tell me if there are some benefits I am not being afforded to that other club members are.
