What you don't realize though, is when people are treated differently based on who they know, or what clique they hang out with, or who is in power in the club, that DOESN'T help the club at all. Why should some pay to advertise their business, and others get it for free? If you think for one second the Four Queens is doing this as a non-profit just for the hobby, you are dreaming. If they weren't making money, they wouldn't be doing it, period.

I don't know if the Four Queens is paying for the ad or not, I'm responding to toned eagle's suggestion that they should get it for free. Is that better for ALL of the club members, or is that better for certain people in the club?

The solution is simple and it even helps the guy who can't click on the ad. Take down the ad and post the info in current news without blatantly running ads for them. Again, if they are paying for it, by all means, keep that ad running and get revenue for the club!

Side note to the guy who can't read it, adobe reader is FREE and will solve your issue.
