By the look on your face at the tournament when you saw Dennis Berry standing there,
I thought you were going to have a heart attack. When I asked if you were ok, you did
explain that Dennis was such a tight wad, he only comes to the tournaments once every
10 years or so, his last being 11 years ago. You had also said to watch when he opens his
wallet, moths fly out of it. It was good to see Dennis, but we may have to wait another 10
years before his very next appearance at a tournament. Dennis did say here on the message
board that if he attended a tournament, he would buy the 1st round. Did anyone get a drink
or beer? His next appearance he will probably give you a shot of his Geritol.
Speaking of being Mister Tight Wad, I found out he did not get a room there at the 4 Queens,
because he brought his own mattress and slept on the floor at the back of the casino. I got a
picture of him to prove it for the newsletter.
