I came across this early, Bally's, ten dollar strike at a yardsale here in Vegas a few years back. And the thing I find unusual, is that the owner received it from Bally's in a black velvet, clam shell, jewelry box, with the included slip of paper. I only know strikes to be won from a machine, barely surviving the drop into the coin-out tray, let alone in a jewelry box.
So the question is, does anyone know if early Bally's strikes were awarded some how in this fashion?
Thanks,
Jim
