The arguments discussed below are moot.
The costs incurred by the casinos adjusted for the strike program now vs 30 yrs ago are known only to them the ( Providers of the games). They can and do control the payback installed and running the game while always maintaining a positive balance sheet.
The cost of said game is floated by the players play over the long haul of the machines time on the floor.
Just a thought - Why run real silver machines when the customer base accepts clad?
25 yrs ago I was playing a Strike machine and fed $25 or so into the machine at the Aladdin Casino and received my prize strike only to discover it was a brass $2 token, boy was I pissed for not paying attention to the details. My bank roll was only $100 a day back in the old days.
As for machines being more costly to play just look at the new Resorts World - supposedly their slot revenues are lacking.. Well hell - I walked thru the casino last June and the minimums per pull were $6 to $12 , I guess whales only play.
Now back to topic - at today’s stratospheric costs of silver I would like to see real silver or silver chasers in the machines 24/7 and tighter spacing.
