Here is what I have been doing with my strike collection ...

A friend who is a master silversmith had explained to me how
to clean the silver strikes - both the silver and brass rims.

Step #1 - I clean the strikes very carefully, careful not to
scratch the silver nor the brass. Once cleaned, I put them
in new capsules

Step #2 - Since we enjoy looking at the strikes, the ones
that come in red and clue capsules, I save the capsules, and
place the strikes in new capsules and use red and blue car
stripping around the edge of the capsules

Step #3 - I am putting a small label on each strike around
the edge with hotel name and SSC #, so in the storage
box where they are standing upright, I can see what
I have, along with an Excel print out of the collection
