I was USMC early to late 60's - Haircuts both in the states and
especially overseas were free.

I served with the 26th Marine Combat Regiment in Vietnam. Spent
most all my time in Khe Sahn on the DMZ in ICorp. I had received
the Silver Star & Purple Hearts along with other medals for service
in Vietnam .....

While with Delta 1/26 USMC (January 1967) in Khe Sanh, I made a
deal with one of the montagnards for a hand made crossbow and
quiver along with some arrows (on my belt) for some cigarettes and
canned C rations. I still have the crossbow & quiver hanging on the
wall in my rec room.

When I came home from Vietnam, I got stationed at HQ USMC and
worked on AFRTN (Armed Forces Radio & TV) for awhile .....
