Jerry and Dennis: Rick told me that two new series plus two $200s are imminent for The Plaza. One group will be seven tens and a $200, the other will be three tens and a $200. Each set will be in a separate machine. And if I know Rick, we will see new strikes at the El Cortez in time for the convention. NOTE: I did NOT say convention strikes.
Palms has said April will be the date for Seattle Slew strikes, four tens and a $200.
Knowing Imperial Palace, I have quietly acquired 20 ten dollar strikes. I bet on a 2003 $200. This one is an OPINION, not a promise. I would also expect the reliable Flamingo Laughlin to come up with a 2003 design.
Rick also said the Las Vegas Club was really close to putting in the next batch of the Winter Games.
Unless Caesars Palace is dumber than I think (that would be below a rock, even a talking one [private joke with Norm]), they should do a strike or two for Celine Dion and the Coliseum. This one is a GUESS.
