It has been quite a while since I have posted...sorry.
I am still the Director of Slots at the Golden Phoenix in Reno and have not forgotten about my friends in the strike community!

My memory was jogged the other day when a collector (Ron) came to visit. Unfortunately I was busy running key service since a few of my employees had not shown up (welcome to reno!). His remark made me chuckle...:"what is the director doing running keys....." we do what we have to do even though I had to scrape a few layers of rust off my hands!!!

The latest on a Strike machine for the Phoenix is still as before....IGT will not release an old machine and has yet to make their new one. That leaves us out in the cold unfortunately.

I was assured by our IGT Rep that work goes on and they do have plans to release a new model. This stands to reason since the "puck" idea was also meant to dispense other mdse!

Sorry for the brief message, but wanted to let you know I am alive and well.....Off to the grind...
