Gambler sues after being glued to toilet seat

JACKSON, Miss. -- A gambler says he got stuck to a toilet seat that had been smeared with glue and had to waddle across the casino floor with nothing more than a towel covering his predicament.
In a $50,000 lawsuit filed July 14 against Boyd Gaming Corp., Charles Hales said the seat had to be pried off at the Silver Star Casino in Philadelphia in 1995.
"Walking down the aisle with a security guard and waddling like a duck was a little more than I could handle," Hales said.
Bryce Warren, assistant general manager at the casino, disputed Hales' story, saying a housekeeper and a security guard found no substance on the seat and the restrooms have disposable paper seat covers.
Hales said the prank may have been pulled by a sore loser.
