Of course I read the messages, I need a laugh.
Look above at the string of rants, harping on someones own personal decisions and basically talking them down, including some rude comments.
I (and many other people) have learned to just ignore Richards incoherent ravings. However anyone who is new and wondering about collecting strikes, will see this as some sort of "inmates run the asylum" situation.
I still come here to read strike news and learn. I don't mind the ads or sometimes off topic posts. It isn't something that should be carved in stone as far as content. But what content do you find in personal attacks, abusive and foul language, or outright fabrications that get heaped on us by one or two people?
There are some others who, if they post a message, will get immediate replies, having nothing to do with what they wrote, calling the person names and telling them to shut up.
Gee what a warm fuzy feeling I'd get as a new viewer, by seeing that. Wouldn't it discourage anyone from posting a message for fear that they would be next on the hit list?
Bulletin Board Thugs have been ruining the community here for too long.
Do you want more collectors, more people who write messages, more interest, more new members? Or do you want a couple of mean spirited losers to rule over their make believe domain, which scares away not only the new, but the experienced collectors.
So I'll answer you question again, NO I don't enjoy reading messages from Richard here, or anywhere. I can watch the villiage idiot make a fool of himself and laugh, but it soon wears thin.
