Maybe they dipped it in Mercury like we did Years ago to make pennies look like dimes..I have a blank silver plachet for the center part of the strikes,,( looking for a blank plachet rim..)If the person that posted on the board a couple of weeks ago with all the rims he got,, maybe he would be willing to cut one in two and post what he finds out for all of us to know...THanks "GIO" SS1072
