I must be missing something in the photo, I don't know what I'm looking for. If the rims were silver, the Gaming Commission would have never issued the ruling that the .999 had to be stamped on the SILVER, because the rim would have been SILVER and it wouldn't have mattered where it was stamped. Can whoever has made the club coins in the past please get a mint rep to put this to rest once and for all and tell everyone that the rims are not silver? Then post it on the silver strikers club web site so when this comes up again in six months, there will be a reference, and then six months after that, and on and on...
If the rims were silver, then there wouldn't be an inner blank and an outer rim, which is clearly detectable. It would be one solid silver blank like those used to make silver eagles, rounds, etc.
Even a casino person should be able to verify the rims are not silver, they pay the invoices for the strikes, they should know how much silver they are getting. Craig, Shaun, anyone?
