The current strike machines are on a Sigma Games platform although IGT maintains the game and runs the strike program. IGT doesn't like to share, which is probably the biggest reason they bought out Anchor Games, a partner in the very lucrative Wheel of Fortune. There is no $5 game for $200 strikes because they don't have the inclination to modify any of the Sigma Game series and have no parts inventory for the $5 games. There is also the development of the new strike machine which would discourage any investment with the old style machines.
