I don't know how many times I have bought strikes from the Main Cashier at a casino when they have become obsolete, and sometimes still current strikes. It would difficult to identify those that are not considered silver strikes because I did not win them from those that I won playing a machine.
Here's a hypothetical question. What if a casino issues 100 strikes and puts ten in a souvenir coin slot machine and the other 90 are won thru hand pay. At some future date who would determine which ones were souvenir tokens and which ones were not?
It is obvious that the author was influenced by a minority opinion and hopefully in a future editions will make appropiate corrections.
