Re: Silver Slipper Gaming Tokens

Every casino received 500 proof samples of their tokens from the Frankin Mint. These were sent out in boxes of 25 and were in octagon holders. In some instances the casinos sold the proofs in their gift shops. Other casinos just kept the tokens in the vault. These proofs are collectible in the original holders, but the prices are generally the same as single proof tokens from sets. Once the token is out of the case, it can not be distinguished from other proofs that the mint issued in sets to stockholders and customers.
