Hi all just got back from a day of fun in the hot Nevada sun. The day started off in Lake Tahoe and a trip to Caesars for the new set of five strikes. I got a complete set with two extras for $70.00 "yeah" and to think I almost bid for the set on ebay for $125.00. My strike collecting buddy Larry won 11 strikes from Caesars and five of those from the first $20.00 bill he put in the machine. All you silver strikers who will be at Caesars this weekend for the meeting should have a wonderful time getting your strikes. A quick trip across the street to Harveys and a try for the new "Emerald Bay 1913" strike. I took along a dupe I had for a try at swapping at the cage but was told "NO TRADING" you must win one from the machines. I had one for a $5.00 investment, they are mixed in with the old strikes. With a smile on my face I took the dupe to the cage and got a $10.00 bill and walked out the door $5.00 ahead. On the road again and a quick trip to Reno. Siver Legacy's #6 was not yet in play I did win an older stike for $5.00 but Larry got four strikes for a $20.00 investment, he had the best luck today. Reno Hilton was nice and swaped a #6 NYSE for a #7 Nuke Age the #8 was not yet in play. I did not play the machines here this trip but Larry did and got two #7 strikes for a $10.00 investment. Atlantis four strikes for a $40.00 investment, Larry again. We also stopped at Sierra Sid's to take a look at the new $200.00 strike. One sold on Ebay this week for about $400.00 they did have one in the display but are all sold out. Only the #1 and #2 $10.00 strikes are currently in play. Do any of you know when the next ones #3-#6 will be issued? Also if anyone has an extra Sid's new issue $200.00 strike they would like to sell please let me know.
