It's a well-known scam to post big ticket items with a very high hidden reserve, which, of course, is never met. The seller then contacts the high bidder privately to arrange the sale. This cheats Ebay out of their final value fee, and also denies the buyer the protections that Ebay offers.

From your message, it appears that you want full retail price for these strikes. I wouldn't call that an auction, either.
