The President of the Hawaii Tourism Authority (makes about $250,000 a year) was FIRED for this exact same type of joke on his email at work. And that was after he survived having P0RN on his computer! No matter how you slice it, no matter how funny you think it is, no matter what justification you try to spin, no matter how innocent you think it is, it is a racist joke, has no bearing on the silver strike hobby, and should not be posted on the board. Skip, as someone who helps clean spam off this board, go back and read the USAGE POLICY and you will see that this is a violation of that policy.

And Rick, you know darn well that if the punch line was "we painted them white" that it wouldn't be funny because no one would get the joke, because those racist stereotypes are not usually associated with white people. It's so funny to see people try to justify the joke as if it's not racist. I bet none of you would tell this joke to Mike Tyson's face.
