I didn't know brass was worth that much. I was under the impression that to "scrap" a base metal, it had to be in the tons, and not the ounces or pounds. There's about 20 rims to make a troy pound (12 troy ounces) so they would be worth about $.04 a piece.

Yeah, I remember when Kirk posted a pic of some rims last March when silver was in the $20s. That caused quite a stir...
