Jackpot Follies?

For some time I've noticed some sellers posting strikes sales at very high starting bids. Far in excess of any recent selling prices or for that matter catalogue values. Usually the number of offerings are quite prolific. Rarely do these inflated auctions produce sales. Could this be a filler technique to make it appear there are more strikes for sale than in reality? Is there a new super duper dream catalogue we don't know about? Perhaps just trolling for suckers?
