I - strongly - believe that both the CC>CC AND the Silver Striker Clubs needs & can help each other. In fact I joined the CC>CC first as I found out about them first. Through my association with the CC>CC I learned of the Silver Strikers Club which I promply joined as I was already collecting silver strikes. I have been a member of both clubs since them and plan to continue being a member of both clubs.

BOTH clubs along with former chapter clubs has something to offer to anyone who collects casino related things. I feel that it is better to have more then 1 club. As this allows each club or clubs to better concentrate their focus on the casino item(s) that is mostly collected by that club's members. Like Chips & related items for the CC>CC, Silver Strikes & related items for the Silver Strikers Club, and things the other former chapters are involved in. HOWEVER, this DOES NOT mean that all the clubs cannot work together for the betterment of the casino collecting hobby in general. A grand example is the yearly CC>CC convention.

To this end I as the present overseer of the Silver Strikers newsletter. Along with Kathy & Larry Archer the newsletter editors. Have endevered to include information on the Museum Of Gaming History (MOGH). ---Of which I am a firm believer in---. As well as other items pretraining to the CC>CC especially the convention. That should be and hopefully is of interest to Silver Strike Club members. This I will do as long as I am able to do this.

I ask that ALL Silver Strike Club members support the CC>CC somehow. Without their convention support we strikers would not have a convention as - we know it - to go to.
