Re: The Silver Strikers Club
In Response To: Re: The Silver Strikers Club ()

Maybe I can shed some light on that question. In the beginning we were as one club joined at the hip. Due to the fact that CC>CC was a full registered non-for profit club with a top tax ID number we as the Silver Strikers Club and others, smaller chapters were jeopardizing their tax position. It was agreed that we would split off and get our own lesser tax ID number. They both have some type of non-profit numbers but I don’t know them by number at this point. The CC>CC is still considered our parent club even though we operate separately. Like Pam said, they give our club a lot of benefits at convention time. I have no control over any casino but my opinion would be to have the tournament either before or after the convention dates. Jeff Bitzer just a member SS-291 R-5655
