At the Flamingo tournament there were 150 participates and each person received a tournament strike for being in the first World Silver Strike Tournament. The top 50 players received a strike which were numbered depending on your placement in the tournament and then there were 50 hand pay strikes won at O'Shea's casino. The second tournament at the Flamingo was canceled.
The Vegas Club had the first Silver Strikers Slot Tournament downtown and the tournament strike was a $40 silver strike and each participate received one, these were also numbered and you received the strike number where you placed in the tournament.
This is what I remember.
