Whether this event is sponsored by The Palms OR the Silver Strikers... CC & GTCC does have a concern when it appears that SS club members may be encouraged to stay at another hotel during our convention dates.

While it's a free country and everyone is free to do whatever they like ... the bottom line is that CC & GTCC needs to make the most of every hotel room we can reserve at the host convention hotel (South Point) in order to continue our annual Las Vegas conventions. It's in the interest of both our organizations to support the host convention, to which the Silver Strikers benefit as much as the chip collectors.

I would invite many readers of this message board to visit this recent thread (link provide below) on the CC & GTCC message board to appreciate why we need all the convention support we can muster again this year.
