Doug and Archie I agree with everything you’ve said about supporting CC>CC Convention and host hotel. However, if either one of you had taken 3 minutes and contacted Bob Chambers directly you would have found out two things: #1. This proposed event is a Palms event and not a Club event. #2 Bob is not trying to work any room deal with the Palms, he is only passing on what he was told. You’re throwing the spear at the messenger.
People..People… read what you have said and it becomes “The Silver Strikers Club is trying to undermine CC>CC when no such thing is taking place. Seven years ago the Silver Striker BOD voted to NOT sponsor nor as a club be involved with a tournament. To date the club has stuck to that, despite a number of people trying to drag the club into one.
Please, I beg of you and everyone else if you’re going to post something on the board please find out what you’re talking about and get the facts straight first.
