Remember that strikes didn't hit the known universe until 1992 with the 7.00 denoms. I met Christie and Tony at a show at Arizona Charlies in 1996 I think. I was sharing a table with Doug Gunter who is the original good ole boy of strike collecting. I had only been collecting for a year or so myself when I met you two. I think anyone who started collecting before about 2000 qualifies as an original. When did the club start 2000 or 2001. I think there were about 50 collectors that first year. I think I have made better friends and acquaintances in this hobby than I have in my job. Then again I really don't like cops anyway. Maybe I will see everyone again at the convention this year.
