Dennis shouldn’t you be in bed by now?
First it is $349.99. Second it is “Buy me now” on Jackpot Auctions eBay has “buy it now”. You seem to be good at math. Which would you rather get for $349.99 a limited 250 strike or a limited 125.
Like the Palms pentagon once the word gets out that a low mintage is being offered the collectors and dealers go after them. The Palms Pentagon went out at about twenty a day once they made public that they would be limited to 150.
You can’t base an average cost on winning a few strikes. I played the Palms and the first 100 strikes cost me $1300, the second 100 cost me $1500 and the third 100 cost me $1700. Even this is not enough to determine the average cost. I am in the process of charting the average times each symbol appears to determine the nearly exact cost per strike. It will take time though unless I camcorder a machine while in play. I do know that when it comes Red 7 Red 7 the probability of getting the third red is about 1 in 70. I can say with fairly certainty that the average cost is somewhere between $14 and $15 per strike and I have a gut feeling that you will win approximately 7 strikes per $100. It takes about 45 minutes to win 20 strikes on average. With the time spent waiting and breakdowns I would put the total average time per 20 strikes at about one hour.
The price of the Plaza and the Las Vegas Club will probably remain stable for the next 5 years or more.
