Rodney there are many many variables in the $200s release dates.
It has been my experience that the casino personnel want to be helpful and most try to their best to do just that. Most casino employees don’t know when the strike is going to be released until the actual strike is physically at the casino. So, if you ask four different people you’ll get three different answers. Each is telling you, to the best of their knowledge, what they know about the release date.
The next $200 scheduled to be released by the Palms is the Christmas $200 which was to have been released last December. When that did not happen it was suppose to be released at the time that everyone would be in town for the Four Queens tournament. The prototype for the Palms Christmas strike has been struck but for what ever reason Gamming has not approved the design yet. It is assumed that gamming will approve it but the mint will not produce it until it has been approved. So now they hope to have it ready for convention time. The key word is hope. However, should it get approved this week, produced and delivered next week I’m not sure if the Palms would want to let them set in the safe for five months.
Bottom line is ask the questions and take the answer with a grain of salt but don’t get upset when they say I don’t know or what they do say turns out to be false.
