Norm,
I'll turn myself in to Gaming if you turn yourself in to the NFL. Actually, the Caedsars was approved prior to Rene's law, as were all the Palms 200s and the first SAF 200.
I disagree with your comment about the smaller casinos. SAF sure has a lot of strikes around, especially the CT mint. And their designs have been completely unimaginative until their patriotic series. No offense intended, but the SAF casino building doesn't compare to Bellagio. I also think no one is turned on by a gambler series except the tourist. We not too bright collectors only picked them up because we are obsessed. If you are too small for the 200s, admit you can't do it and don't issue them. Maybe just admit that your reach exceeded your grasp. The free market will have spoken. I don't see Hyundai making a car to compete with a BMW.
I don't hear Plaza or Las Vegas Club complaining about their 200s which average one a year. Imperial Palace, a larger casino, apparently is happy with their program which started issuing 200s in 1995. They have since issued five and are probably planning a 2003 to replace the 2002.
