Tom is one of the very few people on this message board who isn't trying to make a profit. He's one of the very few people who actually provides useful information, as opposed to all those trying to take advantage of collectors, especially newbies.

Instead of anyone dumping on Tom, where are the complaints about the greedy bottom-feeding speculators? Where are the complaints about the speculators who pay stooges to monopolize machines during special runs, so that ordinary collectors don't have a chance? Where are the complaints about the pest that was kicked off Jackpot Auctions (twice) for fraud? Where are the complaints about the people posting on this board who use shill bidders, to jack up their Ebay auction prices? Where are the complaints about the illiterate all caps messages, complete with misspellings, raving, and threats? Where are the complaints about the off topic sports messages, that violate the group's FAQ? Where are the complaints about the greedy speculators who try to create artificial shortages of strikes, so they can sell their hoard of them at a huge markup? Where are the complaints about the greedy speculators who try to create phony error strikes?

Where are the complaints about the people who constantly spam the board with pre-Ebay sales messages, then post messages about the actual Ebay sale, then post messages about their closing Ebay sales, and then post the going going gone messages, and who then complain about poor sales? Along the way, they insult you with their baby talk "lookie!" and other annoying gimmicks that they think will trick you into buying their items. Yes, they really do think that you are stupid enough to fall for it.

If you take away all the messages that are directly about money, you'd have very few left on this board. Which would be great, so that collectors could then have a useful forum, instead of nothing more than a continuous greedy infomercial.

This board sometimes gets so twisted that the only complaints are about the people doing something decent and useful, as opposed to those who are into silver strikes strictly for the money, and who don't care what they have to do to get it.
